Also referred to as converted rice, Sada Parboiled Rice gets its name from the process of partially boiling the rice in its husk. This process is what gives the rice its signature yellow color and also helps to conserve some of the original vitamins, minerals and whole grains found in rice. Parboiled rice also has a nuttier taste than neutral-flavored white rice.
